First I want to thank everyone who prayed for my fiance on my original request a couple of months ago. He is an alcoholic who was on a downward spiral to death basically, and I prayed for him to realize his issues, and turn his life over to God. Since then, he HAS told me that he "hit bottom", and has been trying to slow down drinking, and straighten out his life. He got a job (only pays $9 hour, but nontheless..he IS working!!), got an apt, and seems to be TRYING to rebuild his life!!! Thank you ALL for your prayers!!! So far he feels too unworthy to turn his life over to God, but I truly feel in my heart that God is "working on something" and reaching out to this man.
Now, I'm asking for your continued prayers, because there is still a LONG way to go......ugh. He has some legal issues (a DUI which he has been running from since 2004), which really need dealt with before they get any worse. He has daily axiety attacks over this issue, chest pains, the whole thing.......ugh. We spoke with an attorney, and my fiance seems ready to face these issues, except the attorney wants $2000, plus there will be fines involved. Since both of us are poverty income, I see no way of coming up with this kind of money, and see no other way........BUT, I know MY God is much stronger than this.........with God NOTHING is impossible!! He can get a public defender, but the situation is extremely complicated, and it really requires a qualified DUI attorney to handle it affectively.
PLEASE pray for his situation!! For God to continue to touch his heart

Thank you again for the prayers and support over the past few weeks. The Court case goes to the hearing tomorrow 22nd Sept. There were a number of chances to settle but all failed. Had we settled we would have been seen as being guilty – despite this we were prepared to settle. Now we see that we are fully and completely in the hands of our Heavenly Father. We can no longer afford to pay for a legal defense so on Monday we defend ourselves…… well that is not entirely true …. We have Jesus with us. Being in God’s hands is a pretty good place to be. May we ask that you continue to pray for us.
